Hello, everyone.
How have you been lately?
In my last post, I shared a practice called "Connecting with Your Inner Resources."I wonder if you had a chance to try it out.
Today, I’d like to offer a summary of the series we explored over four posts, along with a new guided video where you can experience these exercises at your own pace.
Throughout this series, we’ve focused on how to gently reconnect with yourself when stress or anxiety feels overwhelming. Each post introduced simple perspectives and exercises to help bring ease to both mind and body.
Series Recap:
Part 1: What Happens During Stress and Anxiety?: We explored how the mind and body naturally respond to stress and the importance of gently returning to the “here and now.”
Part 2: Using the Five Senses: We practiced using sight, sound, and touch to soothe the nervous system and come back to the present moment.
Part 3: Grounding Exercise: We explored feeling the body’s support while sitting, to find calm and stability.
Part 4: Connecting to Your Resources: We practiced recalling favorite people, places, or memories to access warmth and comfort within.
